Hierarchical matching of deformable shapes

Web22 de jan. de 2008 · The paper presents an approach to the detection of deformable objects in single images. To this end we propose a robust match metric that preserves the relative edge point neighborhood, but allows significant shape changes. Similar metrics have been used for the detection of rigid objects. Web17 de jun. de 2007 · It is asserted that modelling the interior properties of the shape can help in extracting this overall visual similarity and shown that using such an approach provides an effective way to perform matching of shapes that are visually similar to each other, but have vastly different contours.
